We have completed redesign of the actuator arm assembly. The original version required that six variations of the arm be packaged with each BiPAD® unit (left and right handed, three different sizes).
The new version requires only one actuator assembly since it fits both left and right hands and has an adjustable arm length. In the process, we improved tactile feel of switch activation.
We submitted a provisional patent on the new arm design. We recently received 2400 units of the commercial production version of the BiPAD® bipolar cord. These units will be used for testing required for the FDA 510K application.
